Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy. Extending across three provinces (Trento, Verona and Brescia), it is bordered on the North by the Giudicarie Alps and the Mt. Baldo mountain chain, and on the South by a triple circle of glacial hills that is over one hundred kilometers wide.
